Patience is a virtue. This has indeed become a mantra for fans of David Lynch and Mark Frost’s cult series ever since a revival of Twin Peaks was announced at the end of 2014. Two and a half years later, we’re almost there: only two months left until we’re graced with a third season comprising 18 episodes, all of them directed by Lynch himself.
After a few stylish teasers but with a promo team pretty avaricious in sharing stuff, it was about time we got a few crumbs to get us going. Entertainment Weekly, the US magazine famed for flamboyant scoops unveiled a triple cover dedicated to the Twin Peaks revival, as well as a series of as yet unpublished photos, which plunges us back into the atmosphere of the small mountain town.
More than 25 years later, the residents are still enjoying a nice cup good coffee and a slice of cherry pie. As if frozen in time, they appear to have hardly changed.
